I got to write the September article at fiskarscraftsdotcom and I chose to do some fun projects for the Christmas holiday. Lots of stuff you can do ahead of time that would be a bit overwhelming if you decided you wanted to make them during the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season! Maybe they aren't things you would necessarily want to do, but they might spark some ideas!
Also, did you know that September is National Sewing Month? Fiskars is celebrating with a new project every day in September - that's 30 projects! Go here to check it out. I know there are some very cool ones coming up!
One more fun, creative tidbit: I have been invited to join the design team at October Afternoon! I'm very excited about it and now that I will be working with two fabulous manufacturers....well, please, just don't ask me to join another. I'm happy and busy. (I hope it's obvious that the implication that my door is being knocked down with offers is a joke, but I am wanting to emphasize that I do not plan to overcommit myself, so that's it for me for now. I won't be looking for any new opportunities any time soon.)
{Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
Psalm 143:10}

I was wondering if you'd mind me putting a link to your blog on mine? I just love stoppin' by here and looking at all the neat things you post. Your play on words make me giggle, too.
Congrats on joining the October Afternoon design team.

Just found your blog and had to say what cute little projects!! Love the yummy hot cocoa in the jar! I'm thinking this is a great project for my little guy to help me with for our neighbours. Is there any chance you'll share the recipe? Pretty please?! :-)
