Heidi Grace has some amazingly fun flowers, doesn't she? I made this with a plain dry erase board from Wal Mart, Heidi Grace fabric flowers and glitter chipboard, and the Fiskars Easy Squeeze Glue Gun.
This glue gun is so cool - no heat! But lots of glue.
Change subject:
Doctors practice medicine. I practice procrastination. I really don't have to practice any more. I am so good at it. Procrastinate, procrastinate, procrastinate.
And I don't think it has very much to do with the fact that I have four children and we homeschool. It goes much deeper than that.
I have read a lot about procrastination. It seems that because I am such a perfectionist, I tend to put things off because I don't think I can do them perfectly. All or none, that's me. The more important the task, the more likely I am to put it off and then have to do it at the last minute with absolutely no hope of doing it well. It's such a strange phenomenon.

You are so cute! I've read forever and here's my first comment. Love the flowers. And I TOTALLY do that too. Just how you described it. How will it ever end?

Yep - I have the same disease, too. And it stems from the same thing...In fact, I think my middle name should be Procrastinate instead of Renee. Fits me much better. I'm working to improve that, though...getting a bit better at it, too.

Your work is so amazing! I'm so so so glad you are blogging again. My favorite hobby is procrastinating! Not really, but I totally know what you feel like!! By the way, I've been meaning to comment on your pages. I LOVE THEM!! You use letter stickers SO well. I also LOVE how you use scripture on your pages. I'm totally wanting to do that. I was even thinking about making a little ringed book of just my favorite scriptures all fancied up. You are inspiring!!

Is that why you don't call me often enough, you're afraid you won't have the perfect conversation prepared?

Amen, I say. I just keep replaying that Cat Lady episode on Oprah and praying that I NEVER get that bad...
Lovely flower board, Stacey.

I have personally noticed a theme for this not-so-new year, right from the start, thus dubbing it "Procrastinate:2008." :( Oh how I wish it hadn't started off so slooooowwwwww... Here's to us procrastinators! :P
